Wrinkle relaxing injections are ideal if you have a special occasion that you want to look your best for, or simply want to look and feel rejuvenated. A muscle relaxant is injected into the area to be treated, relaxing the muscle causing the wrinkle and smoothing the surface of the skin. Skin Peels
The pre-summer months are a great time of the year to address our skin problems. We have an excellent selection of peels which treat many of those self esteem sapping skin conditions.
The Innovation Concept Peel (ICP) is a medium depth peel which is especially good at lifting the pigment of melasma, a condition associated with pregnancy or the contraceptive pill. This peel is applied in the clinic and left on the skin for up to 8hrs. The skin peels visibly over the following 3 to 5 days. You are supplied with products to use for the next 4 weeks to enhance the final result.
Fruit acids have been used for many, many years to remove the very superficial layer of the skin. One of the effects of this is to allow increased penetration of your Jan Marini products into the deeper skin layers where they can work to stimulate the dermis which increases production of collagen and elastin and thickens the dermis. The peels also reduce excess keratinisation (build up of dead skin cells which causes skin to look dull and gives rise to blemishes). The effect of fruit acid peels is to give your skin back the healthy plumpness and glow of youth.
The fruit acids used at The Orchard clinic are either Glycolic Acid or a combination of Salicylic, Lactic and Citric Acids.
