We are pleased to announce that we are the only Island based aesthetic clinic to become Save Face accredited.
Save Face is the national register of accredited practitioners who provide non-surgical cosmetic treatments, such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
It is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority and recognised by the government, the Department of Health, NHS England and the Care Quality Commission.
We are delighted the clinic had been recognised as a safe and professional environment for aesthetic treatments. This week, a BBC documentary, The Truth About Cosmetic Treatments, revealed the UK was one of the only countries in the world where the beauty industry was almost completely unregulated.
“It featured a woman who was left with a ‘sausage pout’ after having her lips injected with filler by an unqualified beautician. Through Save Face she found a professional medically qualified clinic to rectify her prob6lem.”
Save Face said: “The lack of regulation has resulted in a mass of unscrupulous people masquerading as trained professionals who entice you through their doors promising to deliver great results at incredibly low prices.”
“The truth is, without proper training, the results of any non-surgical cosmetic intervention can be disastrous.”
“Each and every practitioner and clinic listed on our register has been inspected against our robust set of standards.”
Choosing an experienced, medical practitioner for your cosmetic treatments is essential. Often this can be difficult as it takes time and how can you be sure you have made the right choice? Save Face is a register of accredited cosmetic clinics which has done this leg work for you.
